Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL developer to design, implement, and optimize complex database programs in PL/SQL. You will analyze current functionality across packages, functions, and procedures and document findings.

Responsibilities include tuning SQL performance, providing troubleshooting support, and maintaining technical docs. Experience with Oracle Retail and Oracle Cloud Database is preferred; Agile/Scrum participation is expected.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in an application development environment.
Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit testing, system testing, deployment, and production support.

Skills and Requirements

3–5 years of experience in an application development environment.

Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or equivalent database development

tools.

Oracle Retail experience preferred.
Experience with Oracle Forms preferred.
Basic GitLab and SVN knowledge.
Introductory knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira.
Excellent listening, verbal, written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a

team environment.
