Job summary

Iron Insurance Partners, LLC in Marion is seeking a PL Account Manager to support the Personal Lines Production Team and provide professional service to clients via email, phone, and in person.

The ideal candidate will handle payments, client inquiries, and carrier communications, while maintaining accurate activity logs and timely follow-ups. Licensing in Property & Casualty or willingness to obtain it is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance or ability to become licensed.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Willing to pursue additional insurance education.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments in AMS360 and carrier systems.
• Provide service to clients by phone, email, in person, or virtually.
• Direct clients to Service Centers when appropriate.
• Log activities and set follow-ups for items.
• Submit client change requests to carriers and confirm in writing.
• Report new claims the same day of notification.
• Review suspense items daily and address outstanding items.
• Process endorsements per procedures.
• Respond to underwriter correspondence.
• Complete stewardships with clients weekly.
• Report material changes to Account Executive or PL Service Manager.
• Provide reception services and greet clients.
• Assist with projects or transfers for PL Department objectives.
• Cross-sell additional coverage or set appointments for Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A PL Account Manager is part of our Personal Lines Production Team. They perform a wide range of duties to support the team and to contribute to the growth of our agency by providing professional service for our clients. The ideal Customer Service Agent will enjoy interacting with our clients through email, phone conversations and welcoming customers in our office.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Posting of payments received from clients in AMS360 and the insurance carrier system
• Communicating and providing service to our clients via phone, email, in person, or virtually
• Direct clients to Service Centers when appropriate. i.e. Nationwide, Safeco, other carriers.
• Log activities for all client & carrier communications and set suspense for any item that requires follow up
• Receive changes requests from client and submit those requests to appropriate insurance carrier and confirm in writing to the client
• Report to the company all new claims as indicated in claim handling procedures the same day that we are notified of the claim.
• Review suspense items on a daily basis and address all outstanding items.
• Process endorsements according to procedures
• Respond to correspondence received by underwriters
• Complete stewardships with clients each week.
• Report significant (Cancellations, Non-renewals, Underwriting information) activity on an account to the Account Executive and/or PL Service Manager
• Provide reception services to visitors of our agency by warmly greeting our customers
• Assist in any projects, tasks or transfer of business that assists the PL Department in achieving their objectives.
• Ability to cross-sell additional coverage or set appointment for Account Executive(s).
