Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a senior IT engineer to design and implement PKI-based security, load balancing, and reverse proxy architectures for government-grade environments.

The role requires active Top Secret SCI clearance (poly efforts expected) and hands-on experience with AD, DNS/DHCP, and traffic management. You will collaborate with operations and government stakeholders to ensure high availability and secure systems.

Qualifications

• Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start.
• DOD 8140 Certification for the role (Security+ or higher).
• Extensive hands-on IT hardware/software implementation experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, traffic management, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates PKI authentication, load balancing, and reverse proxy operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Analyze requirements and design secure, scalable infrastructure and data centers.
• Develop test cases, documentation, and training materials for operations teams.
• Support transition of engineered solutions to Operations during acceptance testing and deployment.
