Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Defense Engineer Mid / PKI Engineer for a 06+ months contract in Irving, TX (onsite). You will administer PKI infrastructure, manage certificates, and automate workflows to support secure authentication across environments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years PKI/InfoSec experience, hands-on AD CS, and scripting skills. This contract offers benefits and long-term potential with a renewable opportunity.

Qualifications

3–5 years PKI engineering, information or infrastructure security experience.
Experience managing Microsoft AD CS or equivalent PKI platforms.
Strong PKI knowledge: certificate lifecycle, TLS, X.509, cryptography.
Experience with certificate enrollment, renewal, revocation, validation.
PowerShell or other automation/scripting experience.

Responsibilities

PKI Infrastructure Administration: manage CAs, RAs, HSMs, OCSP, enrollment.
Certificate lifecycle management: issue, renew, revoke, replace certs.
PKI security, policies, and cryptographic standards enforcement.
Automation and integration using AD CS, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert.
Security operations, incident response, and vulnerability remediation.
