Job summary

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Reading, MA is looking for a Pizza Maker to hand-craft pizzas to spec, stretch dough, and manage oven timing in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen.

You’ll follow recipes, maintain quality, and work as part of a supportive team with hands-on training and potential for long-term growth; full-time staff receive health benefits. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; be prepared to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and stay focused during peak service.

Responsibilities

• Ability to follow pizza recipes and preparation procedures with precision and consistency
• Solid understanding of food safety, proper storage, and sanitation practices
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Takes pride in hand-crafting pizzas from scratch and presenting them to spec every time
• Comfortable working near high heat and standing for extended periods
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and thriving during busy, high-energy shifts
• Able to stay focused, multitask, and perform under pressure during peak service hours
