SplashDown Beach Waterpark is seeking a talented Pizza Maker to prepare delicious and high-quality pizzas for our guests. The Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing pizza dough from scratch, slicing, and grating various ingredients for toppings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, pride in their work, and the ability to perform at an elite level in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare all raw materials for pizza preparation, including sauces, vegetables, meat, cheese, and dough in a high-volume kitchen.
2. Maintain a clean and organized work area and cooking surfaces; high sanitation standards required. New York State Food Handler Certification highly desirable.
3. Monitor equipment and temperature of the pizza ovens and cooking times.
4. Work cohesively with team members and train new staff accordingly.
5. Follow established recipes and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen with minimal supervision.
6. Communicate effectively in English.
7. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, up to 10 hours per day, and lift more than 50 lbs regularly while standing for long periods.
8. Possess 2+ years of pizza making and kitchen experience in a fast-paced culinary environment (preferred).
9. Maintain strong production skills and uphold sanitation and safety standards.
10. Possess or obtain Safe Food Handling Certification (preferred).
11. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, multitasking ability, and teamwork.
12. Be at least 18 years old.
13. Availability to work at least 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
