Pietro’s in California is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for restaurant guests, delivering consistent, high-quality meals.

Ideal candidates have prior line cook experience, can manage multiple priorities, and work well in a busy, collaborative environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement within a long-standing family-style dining legacy.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age
• Previous experience as a line cook preferred
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

Responsabilités

• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, grills, etc
• Season and cook food according to recipes
• Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty
