Job summary

Round Table in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Pizza Dough Roller to help prepare and maintain fresh dough for pizza making. You will mix, roll, and portion dough following recipes and help keep dough inventory stocked throughout the shift.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, must be 18+, and the ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Training on food safety and TABC certification is required; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma – GED minimum required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handlers, TABC Certification required.
• Employees must be capable of following recipes and performing repetitive, structured tasks.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in food service or customer service is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of fresh dough on a daily basis based on estimated daily usage estimates, ensuring a consistent supply.
• Properly maintain and clean dough rolling area and equipment.
• Able to perform strenuous dough kneading movements, and performing repetitive structured tasks with hands, wrists and arms.
• Mixing dough according to specific recipes, ensuring proper mixing techniques and ingredient ratios.
• Using a dough roller or sheeter to flatten and shape dough into desired sizes and thicknesses for pizza bases.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the dough rolling area and equipment, including washing and sanitizing utensils and machinery.
• May assist with other crew members’ duties, including taking customer orders, preparing toppings, and cleaning up the restaurant.
