Job summary

Seasons Pizza in Newark, DE is seeking delivery drivers to transport food and beverages to customers in residential and commercial locations in a safe, timely manner with friendly customer service. You'll use the Delivery IQ app on shift and help with prep, stock, and store duties as needed.

Applicants must be 18+, have 2+ years driving experience, a valid license, proper insurance, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A clean MVR and English proficiency are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Valid, non-expired driver’s license.
• Proof of non-expired insurance meeting state requirements.
• Vehicle used for delivery must have passed state vehicle inspection.
• 5-year MVR clear of certain violations per our criteria.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Cognitive: ability to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Download and use the Delivery IQ App while on the clock.
• Deliver customer orders safely and promptly.
• Confirm sequence of deliveries and directions before leaving the restaurant.
• Prep and restock front and back of house food products as needed.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and stock pizza boxes.
• Stock soda fridges and clean pizza bags as needed.
• Maintain a clean delivery/dispatch area and hot bags.
• Follow traffic laws and ensure receipts are signed.
• Return hot bags to the store and handle cash drop procedures.
• Answer phones within 3 rings and take orders when needed.
• Report guest complaints to management and assist resolution.
• Return to the store after all deliveries, unless instructed otherwise.
• Empty trash, break down cardboard, sweep parking lot and complete closing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
