D.L. Mack’s is seeking a Pizza Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen in Dallas. You will prepare and bake pizzas with attention to detail, work with various ovens, and support nightly service with organized prep and plating.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of culinary experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety. This on-site role offers growth within Vandelay’s culinary program and team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of culinary experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong work ethic and passion for delivering quality food and guest experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute pizzas according to Vandelay’s recipes, techniques, and quality standards.
• Work with pizza ovens (wood-fired, deck, or gas) and maintain temperatures and bake times.
• Follow portioning, ingredient, and presentation standards for consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized pizza station and support seamless service.
• Assist with daily prep: dough production, sauce prep, topping organization.
