Fringe Bar and Pump House Pizza is a small business in Philadelphia, PA. We are professional, customer-centric, and inclusive. Our goal is to provide our clientele with a top-quality dining experience. Fringe Bar operates an outdoor mobile pizzeria in our beer garden, called Pump House Pizza. This concept is a small pizza menu with apps and desserts as well. Our focus at Pump House Pizza is on perfectly cooked pizza with the correct proportions of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Our dough is a slow-fermented dough, built for maximum flavor. Pizza cooks are expected to make dough, prep, and cook pizzas. This makes for a well-rounded pizza chef who takes pizza as seriously as we do.

As a PIZZA COOK, we are looking for cooks who love working in the kitchen, someone who wants to cook delicious food using proper technique and to help uphold the culinary standard at Fringe Bar through their actions every day on the line. Every cook is expected to be timely & focused and to show teamwork and reliability every day. At Fringe Bar, we are willing and able to teach and coach while we work, so if you are looking to build skills, this is the place!

PIZZA COOKS should have at least two years of experience in a full-service pizza kitchen. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to the level of culinary excellence that we are striving to achieve. PIZZA COOKS come in around 2 pm and work until the last call of the kitchen, which is currently 10 pm on weekdays and as late as 2 am on weekends. On Fridays and Saturdays, there are staggered shifts. Full-time cooks work 4 days/week. Full open availability is essential to receiving a full-time schedule, and right now candidates must be available for WED, THUR, FRI & SAT.

The recently renovated bar and restaurant (formerly La Peg) provide an expansive venue for memorable dining and entertainment experiences for the whole family. The menu consists of soulful gastropub cuisine, influenced by Chef Kenneth Bush's cultural and culinary background, and features a plethora of snacks and large plates. Classic pub fare like fish and chips and a juicy double burger are on the menu alongside jerk chicken wings and Puerto Rican Relleno de Papas. Dining experiences are elevated by floor-to-ceiling views of the Delaware River and Benjamin Franklin Bridge in the industrial-chic space sharing a velvet curtained wall with FringeArts’ renowned 220-seat theater. Fringe Bar boasts a 100-seat outdoor patio, a private mezzanine for parties, as well as a rear biergarten space with its mobile pizzeria, Pump House Pizza. Pump House Pizza focuses on a small menu of delicious crisp pizzas, portioned to be shared with 2-3 people and paired with a selection of appetizers and salads.
