As a Perishable Department Coordinator, you’ll work with a team to ensure the best food items are in stock and ready for service counter and pre-made products. If you have a passion for food, serving customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the position for you!

What will I do?

1. Understand the products offered in the department.
2. Maintain the appearance of the department, ensure fresh products, well-merchandised displays, proper stock levels, and recognize seasonal and weather impacts on sales.
3. Ensure products look and taste at their peak, using core recipes and techniques for quality consistency.
4. Assist in ordering and inventory management using ordering guides to control inventory and reduce shrinkage.
5. Provide proactive customer assistance, offering meal suggestions and product information.

Required Qualifications:

• Customer service experience, preferably in food service, restaurant, grocery, or retail settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food preparation experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and topics.
