• 3–5 years of experience supporting federal admin, security, credentialing, or identity management operations.
• Working knowledge of ICAM, PACS, HSPD-12, and federal background investigations.
• Familiarity with GSA security policies, credentialing standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organization and data management abilities; ability to produce reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to safeguard confidential information.
• Strong communication skills for regulated federal environments.

The PIV Specialist will provide operational and administrative support for federal identity management and security programs while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

PIV Specialist and Duties

• Perform daily operational and administrative functions supporting federal security, identity management, and credentialing programs.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), and the Privacy Act.
• Coordinate, monitor, and track security background investigations and related documentation.
• Issue, manage, and maintain personnel access credentials in accordance with federal security requirements.
• Handle sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII) with discretion while ensuring secure data management practices.
• Collaborate with program personnel, security teams, and stakeholders to support efficient, compliant, and effective credentialing operations.
• Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and process improvements as needed.

PIV Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
