Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an experienced engineer to build edge-to-cloud infrastructure for robotic fleets. You will develop production-grade C++ and Go software on on-device platforms and design secure data pipelines between robots, cloud services, and dashboards.

On-site in Pittsburgh, you will collaborate with robotics, hardware, deployment, and web teams to improve uptime, enable OTA updates, and enhance fleet observability with telemetry and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of robotics or IoT infra engineering.
• Production experience with C++ and Go on embedded/edge devices.
• Experience building edge-to-cloud pipelines and deploying or managing OTA updates for device fleets.
• Experience developing fleet observability, including telemetry, monitoring, alerting, or dashboards.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or GCP, Terraform, and Docker.
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as MQTT, gRPC, or WebSockets.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects; robotics or IoT startup experience is a plus.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade C++ and Go software for robotic platforms.
• Build on-device systems for robotics software integration and edge communications.
• Design secure, low-latency data pipelines between robots, cloud, and web platforms.
• Build and operate OTA update systems for robots deployed in the field.
• Develop telemetry, logging, monitoring, alerting, and fleet dashboards.
• Optimize edge software for reliability, performance, and resource use.
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams to deliver fleet-scale capabilities and uptime improvements.
