Carnegie Mellon University seeks a motivated intern to join the Threat Analysis Directorate within CERT, contributing to AI assurance, red teaming of AI systems, and AI digital forensics. You will participate in reviews, document methodologies, and help develop solutions for mission-based challenges.

This on-site summer internship offers exposure to security research and collaboration with engineers and researchers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree granting program.
• Able to work onsite to the SEI Pittsburgh office.
• Able to work an internship during the summer.
• Eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• AI Security Research and Development: contribute to analysis and solutions.
• Documentation of results and findings from experiments and reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers on cross-functional projects.
