Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Starkville, MS is seeking a Pit Technician to inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and accurately, upholding our mission and core values. You will perform multi-point inspections, advise on needed work, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have automotive repair knowledge (preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair knowledge preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report needs.
• Advise service consultant/technician on additional work.
• Service grease fittings and related components.
• Check fluid levels in rear differential and axle housings.
• Inspect for additional repairs and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
