Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Odessa, FL seeks a Pit Technician to inspect and lubricate cars quickly and safely, upholding our mission and core values while serving customers and supporting the service team.

You will perform multi-point inspections, assist with service recommendations, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and comply with all policies. Valid driver's license and reliability are essential; weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete work accurately and quickly while customers remain in their vehicles.
• Perform multi-point inspections.
• Advise service consultant/technician for additional work if needed.
• Service grease fittings, universal joints and steering knuckles with appropriate tools.
• Inspect fluid levels of rear differential and rear axle housings.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs and up-sell where appropriate.
• Demonstrate alignment with company values in all interactions and adhere to policies and safety standards.
