Job summary

Motorsport Network, LLC is seeking an Athletic Performance Analyst in Mooresville, NC to collect and analyze pit crew performance for NASCAR, IndyCar, and Sportscar programs. You will build models, track metrics, and deliver actionable insights for coaches and engineers.

The role requires strong Excel and data skills, plus video editing experience and motorsports knowledge. Occasional travel to tracks and weekend work are expected as part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data visualization.
• Microsoft Office mastery (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Video editing software experience (Adobe Premiere, Dartfish, or similar).
• High attention to detail with ability to capture split-second timing data.
• Strong motorsports knowledge, NASCAR/IndyCar/Sportscar familiarity valued.
• Willingness to travel to racetracks and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pit stops across races and provide a complete breakdown of the stops.
• Film and breakdown practice stops, and prepare data for athletes and coaches.
• Gather competitor data including pit times and pit box selection.
• Build analytical models to identify trends, strengths and weaknesses in performance.
• Maintain a database tracking historical pit stop metrics across series.
• Generate weekly reports and create performance reviews for coaches and crews.
