Qualifications

• High attention to detail with the ability to capture split-second timing data.
• Strong athletic and/or motorsports knowledge, NASCAR/IndyCar/Sportscar pit rules valued.
• Willingness to travel to racetracks and work weekends at track or home.
• Degree in Sports Analytics, Data Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pit stops during races and provide a complete breakdown of stops.
• Ensure pitstop practice stops are filmed and reviewed with data-ready material for athletes and coaches.
• Gather competitor data including pit times and pit box selections.
• Build analytical models to identify trends, strengths and weaknesses in performance.
• Maintain database tracking historical pit stop metrics across series.
