Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator III in California to perform warehouse tasks and support efficient operations.

You will operate forklifts and order pickers, load/unload trailers, and help maintain a safe, organized facility in a fast-growing logistics environment. Ideal candidates have 2 years of warehouse experience, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime.

Qualifications

• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Must be trained and certified in safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule with possible overtime.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and order pickers to move products and materials.
• Use handheld scanners to track items with high accuracy.

Pay, benefits and more.

The hourly pay rate for this is $27.50. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This rate may be modified in the future. Whatyou’lldo on a typical day:

Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product,equipmentand materials

Utilize a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy

Load and unload trailers as needed

Adhere to the 7S program andmaintaina clean environment at all times

Display a commitment to process excellence

Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy

Perform inbound receiving processes

What you need to succeed atGXO:

At a minimum,you'llneed:

2 years of warehouse experience

To be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks

It'dbe great if you also have:

High school diploma or equivalent

Availability to work a flexible schedule, withpossible overtimewhen needed

Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to communicate well with leadership and peers

This job requires the ability to:

Lift objects of various shapes,sizesand weights up to 50 lbs.

Stand, sit or walk forlong periodsof time

Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull

Handle or manage tools or equipment

Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
