Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator II to support our warehouse operations in Levittown, PA. You will operate forklifts and order pickers to move products, scan items, and assist with inbound receipts.

You will contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient environment by following the 7S program and adhering to the company quality policy. A valid forklift certification and at least 1 year of warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• Trained and certified in safe operation of forklifts.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and order pickers to move product and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with high accuracy.
• Load/unload trailers and maintain a clean work area in line with 7S standards.
• Contribute to process excellence and follow quality policies.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as requiredAdhere to the 7S program and always maintain a clean environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving process

What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to communicate well with leadership and peers

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
