Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a PIT Operator for the 2nd shift (Friday to Monday, 1:00pm – 11:30pm). You will operate forklifts and order pickers to move products, perform inbound receiving, and maintain a clean, organized workspace per the 7S program.

Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a safety-first mindset are important. Flexibility for overtime and a high school diploma or equivalent are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Display a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving processes
