Job summary

Debbie's Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Blairs, VA to support production and drive efficient workflow. You will handle picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs. You will collaborate with Leads and Supervisors to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate documentation, with pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assists department by selecting product for requested work.
• Relays troubleshooting information to Leads or Supervisor.
• Picks/packs orders, ships, receives, inventory, and other general warehouse duties.
• Monitors planned, In-Work, and completed orders to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Completes paperwork for department per SOP.
• Replenishes materials to stock assigned zone.
• Maintains work area effectively.
• Interacts with all areas of the department to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Builds knowledge of manufacturing and distribution and shares it with others.
• Maintains professional relationships with colleagues.
• Supports commitment to quality and safety.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Management may reassign tasks at any time.

PRIMARY DUTY

Contributes to production and efficient workflow within given department, including maintaining pick standards for department through use of PIT/Mobile Equipment.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Assists department by selecting product for requested work.


• Assists with troubleshooting problems within the work process and relays this information to Leads and/or Supervisor.


• Responsible for picking/packing orders, shipping, receiving, inventory, and performing other general warehouse duties.


• Monitors planned, In-Work, and completed orders to ensure that customer requirements have been met.


• Completes appropriate paperwork for department according to specific SOP.


• Replenishes materials ordered to stock assigned zone.


• Effectively maintains work area.


• Interacts with all areas of the department to understand any issues and assess needs to improve consistency and integrity of processes.


• Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Stays current with developments within the manufacturing and distribution field and shares expertise with others.


• Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.


• Demonstrates a commitment to company-wide quality and safety.


• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
