QDaddy’s Pitmaster BBQ in Hampton Roads is seeking a highly skilled Crew Member to join our passionate Pitcrew. Assist in preparing and serving our mouth-watering BBQ dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving our mouth-watering BBQ dishes, including pulled pork, sliced brisket, smoked ribs, and hand-breaded chicken tenders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Support team members during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Job description

Born and raised in Hampton Roads, we are a family-owned second generation pit-master bbq joint, throwing down slow-smoked meaty morsels hot out of our Southern Pride Pits. The name of our restaurant comes from our dear old dad’s KCBS Competition Cook Team name, “Q-Daddy’s.” Our dad, the family patriarch taught us everything we needed to know about how to do Pulled Pork, Brisket and Ribs just right. BBQ is a family affair for us. Together, the Witten sibling power team opened QDaddy’s Pitmaster BBQ in January of 2017 with a few of dad’s old smokers to get us started. We rehabed an antique Texaco Gas Station on South Church Street in Smithfield, Virginia and retrofitted it with a commercial kitchen and a dining room for a cozy, throw-back feel. Smithfield, Virginia welcomed us to their idyllic community with open arms and our little hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint quickly became a hot spot for locals and visitors alike. Our menu is short and sweet to keep the main thing the main thing. Dad always said, “know what you’re good at and do that well over and over again.” In 2019 we purchased the old Tasty Treat Drive in on N County Drive in Wakefield, Virginia as the future home of our second location. After 14 months of renovations and rehab, QDaddy’s Pitmaster BBQ Wakefield is the hottest new stop on route 460 in Wakefield. All our food ingredients and preparation uphold the highest standards in the industry, and each of our menu items are freshly prepared everyday in our very busy, working kitchens. Pulled Pork.
