Piscataway, NJ - Desktop Support Technician Level II

Position Overview

The Desktop Technician will:

  • Provide day-to-day local and remote desktop support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues, and document steps in a ticketing system.
  • Facilitate customer resolution, engage supervisors and managers, and ensure operational consistency across shifts.
  • Perform break-fix, fault diagnosis, and resolution for various operating systems and platforms.
  • Support and resolve issues related to core operating systems, applications, printers, and hardware.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools for network and workstation troubleshooting.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant Windows Desktop support experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCP or higher.
  • Experience with Windows 7-10, Active Directory, MS Office 365, PC hardware, and helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Mac OS, printer support, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, adapt to changing environments, and work off-hours/weekends as needed.
