Job summary

Stevens Engineers & Constructors in Cleveland is seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Piping Drafter to join the operations team. The role blends drafting with project coordination to ensure piping systems are accurately designed, fabricated, and installed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in piping design or mechanical construction, strong AutoCAD skills, and knowledge of ASME/API codes. This on-site position offers an excellent benefit package and room to grow within an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Associates in Drafting or Mechanical Engineering with 3–5+ years piping design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D piping drawings.
• Familiarity with ASME/API piping codes and field measurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D piping plans, sections and isometrics with AutoCAD.
• Develop piping diagrams and line lists; build CAD models from field data.
• Coordinate with project management team to resolve layout conflicts.
• Prepare submittals, shop drawings, and BOMs for procurement.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and assist installation teams in the field.
