Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Piping/Plumbing Project Engineer to design and lead piping systems for research, healthcare, or higher education facilities. You will drive the engineering design process, deliver innovative solutions, and mentor discipline staff to meet client goals.

Applicants should have a BS in mechanical or related engineering, 10+ years of piping/plumbing design experience, and PE registration preferred. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks are valued tools.

Piping/Plumbing Project Engineer

Location: Seattle, Washington

Overview

As a Piping/Plumbing Project Engineer in our Seattle office, you will help us empower clients to achieve energy‑efficient building solutions and create a greener future.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client, and partner needs, and lead the discipline team in implementing them.

Expertise

• BSME/BSAE or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience designing piping/plumbing systems for research, healthcare, or higher education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

Estimated starting salary range: $110,000 to $170,000
