Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II to join their Pasadena office. This role focuses on empowering clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions while contributing to a better future.

Key responsibilities include developing and documenting system designs, interpreting technical data, and collaborating across teams. Ideal candidates will have a BSAE or BSME, along with 3+ years of relevant experience and a PE License.

As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II in our Pasadena office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy‑efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria, and interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000.
