Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II for our Portland office to advance energy-efficient building systems and support healthcare, laboratory, and institutional facilities.

You will develop and document system designs from concept through design criteria, collaborate with project partners, and apply code research to meet client outcomes. Minimum qualifications include a BSAE or BSME, 3+ years piping/plumbing design experience, and PE licensure or progression toward

As an Piping/Plumbing Engineer II in our Portland office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Why We Need You:

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interprets and utilizes information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $90,000 to $125,000
