Job Title: Piping Mechanic - Commercial Construction

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Piping Mechanic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge in the mechanical piping trade in either welding (carbon steel pipe), pipe fitting, or both
• Welding experience a plus - Stick welding on pipe
• Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must be open to helping other mechanical trades as needed - you will not weld all day, every day.
• Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational school or prior training preferred.
• Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
• Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
• Pre‑employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
