Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Mechanical/Piping Designer to contribute to complete designs of mechanical and piping systems in our Virginia office. You will assist in designing larger, complex projects under supervision and support field design activities on site.
The ideal candidate has at least 4+ years of relevant experience, an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD, and solid skills in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete designs of mechanical/piping assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This level is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex mechanical/piping assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision.
Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is required.
Certification is not required at this level.
This position requires 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
