ColonialWebb Contractors seeks a Piping Helper - Construction on site in Richmond, VA to assist with layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems for heating, cooling, and processing plants. You will support plumbers and fitters on daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and fractions.
• Ability to handle tools and materials with care.
• Willingness to work as part of a construction crew.
• Strong safety awareness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety rules, procedures and practices on site.
• Assist in lifting, positioning and securing materials during installation.
• Perform minor maintenance on tools and clean them as needed.
• Set up tools and equipment and provide foreman with needed supplies.
• Handle materials as required and support trenching activities.
• Keep work areas clean and restock supplies as necessary.
• Cut materials and assemble subassemblies as directed.
