Job summary

Metro Mechanical Inc. is seeking an HVAC helper to support installation teams on commercial properties in Mesquite, TX. You will handle tools, materials, and safety procedures while assisting lead installers with ductwork and system setups.

Candidates must pass a drug screen, have a valid Drivers License, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility with hours and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take and follow instructions regarding the collection and acquisition of tools and equipment.
• Assist HVAC mechanic or lead installer on installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on commercial properties.
• Ensure that all systems remain in compliance with standards and protocols.
• Stocking job site with ductwork & equipment & cleaning jobsites of HVAC identifiable trash.
• Measure and prepare the materials required for HVAC installations.
• Assist in the installation of ducts and ducting systems.
• Ensure proper delivery and removal of equipment from client sites.
• Enforce safety measures before, during, and after each process.
• Devise and implement methods to ensure client property remains safe.
• Complying with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.
