Job summary

Hermanson Company is seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with piping and plumbing spooling and drawings for fabrication shops in a dynamic mechanical construction environment. You will work closely with the piping and plumbing detailers, using Revit, Navisworks, and Stratus to support paperless workflow and accurate fabrication outputs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accurate interpretation of drawings, and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED; technical training and/or experience with drawing software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Experience using Revit, Navisworks, Stratus; proficient with Microsoft Office.

The Role

Collaborate with the piping and plumbing detailers to provide assistance with spooling and drawings for the fabrication shops. Utilize Stratus as a tool to facilitate a paperless workflow for the Hermanson shops.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit & Stratus to manipulate and draw piping and plumbing.
• Utilize Navisworks.
• Create spool sheets for piping and plumbing.
• Understanding of dimensioning, shipping and piping to provide accurate break points in the spooling operations.
• Collaborate with all members on the Hermanson team.
• Communicate effectively with other individuals.

The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $55,000.00. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).

Education

High School education or GED. Technical training and/or experience utilizing drawing software. An understanding of construction documents.

Experience

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to utilize Revit, Navisworks and Stratus. In addition, use of the Microsoft suite of tools.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Environment
