Role: Piping Designer
Type: Contract (6+ Months)
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204 (Hybrid)

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves working on high-impact projects in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Oil & Gas industries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SPID/S3D software and a strong background in piping design.

Responsibilities

• Support the piping project lead by preparing lists and progress reports directly from SPID/S3D.
• Develop and modify SPID/S3D models and data for process and mechanical systems.
• Draft, design, and redline P&IDs/AF&IDs within SPID and correlate with S3D.
• Generate detailed reports using SPID/S3D software.
• Apply knowledge of Intergraph software tools in daily tasks.
• Perform routine design tasks under close supervision, following established standards and procedures.
• Report administratively to the department manager and functionally as per the project org chart.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in SPID/S3D process/piping design in a design office or on-site.
• Industry experience in Pharma, Biotech, or Oil & Gas is essential.
• Proficiency in drafting and design of piping systems and related documentation.
• Familiarity with Intergraph software tools.
