The Piping Designer at Hargrove Beaumont is responsible for routine piping drafting and design on smaller projects, under supervision. You will develop drawings from sketches, assist in field design, prepare material take-offs, and support startup activities on site.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of mechanical or piping drafting experience, proficient in 2D AutoCAD and Microstation, and comfortable with MS Word/Excel.
Job Scope: The Piping Designer is generally responsible for performing routine design of less complex design assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This level is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex mechanical/piping assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision in our Beaumont office.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Requires 2+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical or piping drafting and design.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
