Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Piping Designer in Denver to design piping systems and facility layouts for oil & gas, midstream, and industrial projects. You will create and revise P&IDs, piping drawings, and 3D models, and lead design efforts on small to mid-sized projects with minimal supervision.

You will coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, conduct field walkdowns, review drawings for quality, and mentor junior designers.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of piping design and heavy industrial projects.
• Proficiency in 3D design and modeling.
• Strong experience with CADWorx Plant and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills.
• Experience developing and modifying P&IDs.

Essential Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in piping design and heavy industrial projects.

• Experience developing and modifying P&IDs.
• Strong 3D piping and facility modeling experience.
• Knowledge of piping codes and industry standards.
• Ability to review drawings and mentor less experienced designers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of piping/mechanical design experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, midstream, petrochemical, or industrial facilities preferred.
• Experience routing piping systems, compressor stations, and facility layouts.
• Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, field walkdowns, and laser scanning is a plus.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79000.00 - $104000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
