Base pay range

$84,000.00/yr - $96,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

• Develop models of equipment and structures to produce 3D plant designs.
• Generate orthographic and isometric drawings, MTOs, arrangement details, and location plans.
• Support engineers on projects for operating facilities and develop layouts and drawings for equipment, including plans, sections, and elevations.
• Support proposal work by developing conceptual plant layouts and generating orthographic views.
• Check vendor drawings, make necessary corrections, and coordinate submittals as instructed.
• Follow established CAD standards and guidelines for the industrial gases industry.
• Report to the Design Department Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments and work groups as needed.
• Participate in departmental training programs, seminars, and online training.

Required Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in engineering/drafting technology from a recognized technical institute required.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
• Proficiency in CADWORKS 3D and AutoCAD or BricsCAD design software is required.
• Experience with cryogenic piping and working in the industrial gases industry is a plus.
• Understanding of pipe stress and pipe supports.
• Basic computer literacy - Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment across multiple disciplines.
