Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a piping engineer to provide engineering support during design, construction, pre-commissioning, and startup phases of improvement projects. You will execute piping design, 3D modeling, isometrics, stress analysis, and related deliverables to meet codes and standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to control cost, schedule, and quality while supporting construction activities and project execution.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering required; others considered.
• 1-2 years of piping improvement and/or project execution/management preferred.
• Familiar with ASME, ANSI, API, FPC Project standards and piping design documents.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and piping design tools.
• Familiar with 2D/3D piping design software and workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PIC activities for projects and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Estimate, coordinate, and manage budgets and schedules for projects; support procurement activities.
• Perform piping design, develop ISOs and 3D models, and support bid package development.
• Identify and resolve design issues to minimize delays and rework.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members.
