Join HDR as a Pipelines and Pumpstations Project Manager

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of mid-sized and large water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Leading engineering and process design, project coordination, and developing engineering specifications.
  2. Establishing client relations, leading marketing, and participating in meetings.
  3. Conducting schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions.
  4. Managing multiple projects concurrently, coordinating staffing and workload.
  5. Collaborating with Business/Accounting Managers, Project Coordinators, and leadership for project reviews.
  6. Implementing QA/QC procedures and training personnel.
  7. Mentoring less experienced project staff and participating in recruitment.
  8. Managing relationships with strategic clients in Oregon.
  9. Performing other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience designing water and wastewater projects.
  • At least 6 years managing engineering projects.
  • Experience with clients in Oregon and/or Washington.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with municipal water and wastewater planning and design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong technical background in water distribution systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Experience in project engineering and management.
