Job summary

Loenbro LLC is seeking a dedicated Pipeliner for on-site work in Andrews, TX. You will join a construction crew to install, maintain, and test pipeline systems for oil, gas, utility, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities include pipe layout, tie-ins, trenching support, and ensuring compliance with project specs and safety standards. A strong safety mindset and ability to work with heavy tools are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of pipeline, utility, heavy civil, or construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair underground and above-ground pipeline systems.
  • Assist with pipeline layout, alignment, and installation activities.
  • Perform pipe handling, rigging, positioning, and assembly operations.
  • Install various piping materials (steel, PVC, HDPE, ductile iron).
  • Assist with excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site restoration.
  • Perform pipeline tie-ins, fittings installation, and valve installation.
  • Collaborate with welders, equipment operators, and foremen to complete tasks.
  • Verify pipe grade and elevations per project plans.
  • Aid hydrostatic and leak testing and commissioning.
  • Inspect materials and report damaged equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools and pipeline installation equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and site.
  • Follow OSHA, company, and client safety requirements.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and JHAs.
  • Perform other duties to support project completion.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Basic understanding of pipeline construction methods and materials.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow directions, project plans, and project specifications.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.n
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment and client-specific screenings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with oil and gas, natural gas, water, sewer, or industrial pipeline projects.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • NCCER Pipeline Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working around excavation and trenching operations.
  • Equipment operation experience.
  • Experience with pipefitting, rigging, or utility construction.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Knowledge of pipeline installation techniques and construction practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a crew.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to identify and report jobsite hazards.
  • Willingness to learn and develop pipeline construction skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in trenches, around heavy equipment, and on uneven terrain.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as project demands require.
Work Environment
  • Pipeline construction sites, utility projects, industrial facilities, and heavy civil construction environments.
  • Exposure to heavy equipment, noise, dust, mud, excavation activities, welding operations, and changing weather conditions.
  • Travel and temporary assignments may be required.
