Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Pipe Superintendent to plan, schedule, and manage industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M. You will coordinate activities of employees and craft supervision, ensuring adherence to equipment, procedures, and specifications.

Pre-employment and ongoing drug/alcohol testing are required. The role requires leadership in pipe trades, a willingness to travel extensively, and compliance with safety and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of piping systems experience on industrial & commercial projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing pipe craft trades.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedules with General Foreman / Foreman and ensure critical activities stay on schedule.
• Oversee field activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout across energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.
• Document field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule and report to project management.
• Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule.
• Supervise daily work of employees.
• Verify conformance of finished work and compliance with contract requirements.

Job Summary

Loenbro is seeking to hire an experienced Pipe Superintendent. This position will be responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. Must be able to pass pre-employment and on-going drug/alcohol testing.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Review project schedules with General Foreman / Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team.
• Oversee field specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout related to the industries that Industrial Construction serves energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.
• Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.
• Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.
• Supervises the daily work of employees.
• Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with piping systems in construction of industrial & Commercial projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing pipe craft trades.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred:

• Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
• Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
• Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
• Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
