Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating video pipe inspection equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in confined spaces/outdoor settings.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation of inspection findings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote-controlled cameras to inspect pipelines, sewers, and other underground utilities.
• Navigate cameras to identify defects, blockages, and issues for documentation.
• Monitor video footage in real-time to assess pipe conditions and repair needs.
• Record accurate data including measurements, locations, and findings.
• Communicate inspection results clearly to supervisors, engineers, and clients.
• Collaborate with maintenance crews to develop repair plans and schedules.
• Maintain and troubleshoot camera equipment to prevent downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep accurate records of inspections and equipment inventory.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pipeline inspection.
