Job summary

NG Companies in Northern Kentucky seeks a Video Pipe Inspection Operator to operate remote-controlled cameras for pipelines, sewers and underground utilities, interpreting findings and documenting conditions.

You will work with maintenance teams to plan repairs, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols, with a strong focus on accuracy, reliability and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or certification in plumbing, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience operating video pipe inspection equipment or similar remote-controlled cameras is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor settings.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately document inspection findings.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote-controlled cameras to inspect pipelines, sewer systems, and other underground utilities.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Pipe Inspection Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate specialized equipment to inspect pipelines, sewer systems, and other underground utilities using remote-controlled cameras. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret and document inspection findings accurately. • Record accurate data, including pipe measurements, locations, and inspection findings.

• Collaborate with maintenance crews to develop repair plans and schedules based on inspection findings.

Requirements

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pipeline inspection and maintenance.
