IMPACT Group, a certified woman-owned career coaching firm based in St. Louis, MO, has been dedicated for over 35 years to helping individuals succeed professionally and personally through career challenges and transitions. We focus on relocation, outplacement, and leadership development, providing personalized coaching and innovative technology to support career growth.

This is a US-based position. We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for upcoming business needs.

Description

We are seeking a part-time, casual career coach based in the San Francisco / Bay Area to support our relocation and outplacement services. The role involves working 1:1 with employees of our client companies who are relocating or seeking new employment opportunities in the area. The coach will utilize IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology, and also support spouses or partners of relocating employees.

This position is remote, with hours approximately 10-20 per week, with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with employees and motivate them to achieve goals
• Guide employees through coaching processes and milestones
• Advise on career development, transition issues, and options
• Maintain electronic records of services provided
• Monitor progress and provide guidance on job search skills and personal issues affecting careers

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy or career coaching across various industries and levels
• Experience with resume writing, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn, social media, salary negotiations, and personal branding
• Reside in the San Francisco area and have knowledge of the local job market
• Experience with virtual coaching
• Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus
• Technologically savvy with high-speed internet and a headset with microphone

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred)
• Coaching certification or training (highly regarded)
• Personal relocation experience (a plus)
