This is a US-based position. We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for upcoming opportunities.

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time casual career coach based in the San Francisco / Bay Area to support our relocation and outplacement services. Responsibilities include assisting relocating employees and their spouses/families in settling into new cities, and supporting employees in outplacement services to find new career opportunities.

The Coach will work one-on-one with employees of our client companies, supporting those relocating or seeking new employment. The role involves using IMPACT Group's coaching methodology and technology, and supporting spouses or partners with job search assistance.

This is a remote, part-time, casual position, approximately 10-20 hours per week, with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with employees and motivate them to achieve goals.
• Guide employees through coaching processes and milestones.
• Advise on career development, transition issues, and options.
• Coach on résumé writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiations.
• Maintain electronic service records for each employee.
• Monitor progress, provide job search skills coaching, and address personal issues affecting careers.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy or career coaching across various industries and levels.
• Experience with résumé development, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn, social media, salary negotiations, and personal branding.
• Reside in the San Francisco area with knowledge of local job market and living conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with virtual coaching.
• Knowledge of VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus.
• Technologically savvy with high-speed internet and a headset with microphone for remote work.

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related fields.
• Coaching certification or training preferred.
• Personal relocation experience is a plus.
