Pipeline US-Based Job Search Strategist/Career Coach--Part-Time (Kalamazoo/remote)

This is a US-based position. We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for upcoming business needs.

Description

We seek a part-time, casual career coach based in Kalamazoo, MI to support our relocation and outplacement solutions. Responsibilities include supporting employees and their families as they relocate or search for new job opportunities. The coach will work 1:1 with employees of our client companies, using IMPACT Group's coaching methodology and technology, and may also support spouses or partners with job search assistance.

This position offers approximately 10-20 hours per week with flexible, remote hours (no guaranteed hours).

• Build rapport and motivate clients to achieve goals.
• Guide clients through coaching processes and milestones.
• Advise on career development, transition, and options.
• Maintain electronic records of services provided.
• Monitor progress and address personal issues affecting careers.

Requirements

Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy and career coaching across various industries and levels. Experience with resume writing, interview prep, career exploration, social media profiles, salary negotiation, and personal branding.

• Reside in Kalamazoo, MI with knowledge of local job market.
• Experience with virtual coaching.
• Experience navigating VISA challenges is a plus.
• Proficient with technology; high-speed internet; headset with mic required.

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred).
• Coaching certification or training (highly regarded).
• Experience relocating to a different city.
