This is a US-based position. We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for expected upcoming business.

Description

We are seeking a part-time casual career coach based in the Jacksonville, FL area to support our relocation and/or outplacement solutions. Relocation support includes helping employees and their spouses/families adapt to new cities and find employment. Outplacement support involves assisting employees in searching for new career opportunities.

The Coach works 1:1 with employees of our client companies who are relocating or seeking new employment in the area. The Coach utilizes IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports spouses/partners with job search assistance.

This is a part-time, casual, remote position, approximately 10-20 hours per week, with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

1. Establish rapport with employees and motivate them to achieve goals.
2. Guide employees through coaching processes and milestones.
3. Advise on career development, transition issues, and options.
4. Coach on résumé writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.
5. Maintain electronic records for each employee serviced.
6. Monitor progress, consult on job search skills, and address personal issues affecting careers.

Requirements

Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy or career coaching across various industries and levels. Experience with résumé development, interview prep, career exploration, social media profiles, salary negotiations, and personal branding is required.

• Reside in the Jacksonville, FL area and have local knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with virtual coaching.
• Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus.
• Technologically savvy with a high-speed internet connection and a headset with microphone (remote work).

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred).
• Coaching certification or training (highly regarded).
• Personal relocation experience to a different city.
