Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking an Operations Technician Trainee in Burley, ID to support pipeline movements, terminal activities, and right-of-way tasks. The role involves product sampling, tank switches, and loading rack assistance, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferrable technical associate’s degree, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills.

Formación

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills is expected.
• Previous pipeline experience with emphasis on electrical/mechanical is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate and monitor pipeline movements and conduct product sampling.
• Perform tank switches and cuts; assist with loading rack operations.
• Maintain VRU/VCU equipment and ensure Environmental, Safety and Regulatory compliance.
• Respond to station alarms and communicate findings to appropriate parties; coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Complete required training and work safely in an environmentally conscious manner.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in basic computer skills
