Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a field-focused technician to repair and maintain pipelines and related facilities. You will ensure reliable operation of pipelines, valves, pumps, and storage equipment while adhering to regulatory standards. Collaborative across teams and contractors, you will support safety programs and site operations.

Experience level ranges with education; on-call rotations and strict safety protocols are part of the role, including LOTO procedures and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.
• Mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and operate pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump stations.
• Conduct pipeline patrols, one-calls, locate and mark pipelines, inspect line crossings and excavations.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA requirements and complete related documentation.
• Plan, organize and prioritize tasks; coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, utilities and other pipeline operators.
• Participate in safety programs, follow policies and procedures; provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
